I realised early on in the discovery of my passion for woodworking and design that I wanted it to be a framework for my life, which I had found something that would stick with me forever.
Initially pursuing skills to become a part-time hobbyist only, I found myself spending most days eager to get back to the design board and working with my hands.
In 2014 I graduated from Selkirk College for Fine Woodworking and had since explored various projects from unique, one-off custom builds to both small and large scale production pieces, always focusing my designs on a clean, modern style.
Over the past few years, I’ve invested my energies in building my shop and founded Tacit West in 2017.
I currently reside on Vancouver Island where I create alongside my partner Thomas, founder of Artifex Design House.
